Ciao! Today we are going to talk about one of my favourite sock designs, the Tuscany Socks! this exquisite cable pattern, that is surprisingly easy to knit and memorize, is worked toe-up, with a gusset and slipped stitch heel for better fitting. This pattern was one of my first collaborations with Miss Babs Yarns and the sample was knitted on their Hot Shot base, that unfortunately has been discontinued last year. The colorway though was also available in other bases the last time I checked.

GAUGE 8 sts x 12 rows in 2.5 cm (1”) in stockinette stitch Central cable is 4 cm (1¾“) wide Please bear in mind that the cable pattern does not stretch as much as stockinette stitch, so you may wish to consider going up a needle size or two on the gusset and heel section, specially if the wearer has a high instep.
