mascavo wrap

Hello! I hope you are still there and have been enjoying this knit-design-catch-up series! Today's featured pattern is the Mascavo Wrap.

This interesting design is an elegant and surprisingly easy to memorize lace stitch, worked flat in two identical pieces, joined together by an almost invisible seam. Such a delicate wrap is a great versatile piece to go with any outfit, from a chilly summer night to a sunny winter day.

SIZE & YARDAGE Approximately 175 cm x 42 cm/70 in x 17 in (L x W).

830 m/910 yd of sport weight yarn.

Sample features Garnstudio DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk (70% Alpaca, 30% Silk); 167 meters/50 grams (183 yards/1.76 ounces) in colorway Brown 5670.

NEEDLES 3.25 mm/US 3 circular needles with 80 cm/32 in cable length to accommodate all stitches comfortably, or size needed to obtain gauge.

NOTIONS & TOOLS blocking tools of your preference, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle

GAUGE 24 stitches x 36 rows in 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 in after blocking in stockinette stitch.

Even though gauge is not crucial to this project, changes in it will affect your yardage and the final dimensions of your wrap.

This pattern has been tech-edited and test-knitted.

I hope you like it!
