Hi everyone! I am very happy to share with you all my new pattern, The Mariposa Sweater. This is a fun and easy slip-stitch sweater pattern, worked in the round from the bottom up. The boxy, cropped fit with form-fitting sleeves that give it a modern silhouette makes this a great versatile piece to go with any outfit.
FINISHED SIZES The pattern was designed and developed to be worn with 20 to 35 cm (8 to 14 in) of positive ease and fitted sleeves.
XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) with a finished circumference of: 105 (115, 125, 135, 145) (155, 165, 175, 185) cm 42 (46, 50, 54, 58) (62, 66, 70, 74) in around the chest
All SambaKnits pattern are #sizeinclusive to fit up to a 60/62” chest.
YARDAGE 900 (1030, 1140, 1370, 1500) (1630, 1760, 2050, 2190) m 990 (1120, 1240, 1500, 1640) (1780, 1920, 2240, 2390) yds of DK weight yarn.
Sample features Miss Babs Yowza 100% merino wool 512m (560 yds)/227g (8 oz) in colorway Fiddlehead, shown in size S with 30 cm (12 in) of positive ease.
NEEDLES 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles with 80 cm (32 in) cable length, or size needed to obtain gauge; 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, double-pointed needles, or preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round, or size needed to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS & TOOLS blocking tools of your preference, scissors, stitch markers (one in contrast colour for BOR), tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder
GAUGE 21 stitches x 28 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) after blocking in stockinette stitch 20 stitches x 38 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) after blocking in slipped stitch pattern
