Lastarria Sweater

Hi there! I am here to share with you all my latest pattern, the Lastarria Sweater! It is an interesting lace sweater pattern, worked in the round from bottom up. The classic round yoke shape with french sleeves gives it a very delicate look, making this a great versatile piece to any wardrobe.


Lastarria is a touristic neighbourhood in Santiago de Chile, well-known for its bohemian and cultural atmosphere. A small beautiful oasis with lots of restaurants, museums, parks and fashion stores in the middle of the chilean capital.





FINISHED SIZES The pattern was designed and developed to be worn with 0 to 5 cm (0 to 2 in) of positive ease and fitted sleeves.

XS (S, M, L, XL)(2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) Finished circumference of 76.5 (86, 97, 107, 117.5)(127.5, 136.5, 146, 157) cm 30 ¼ (33 ¾ , 38 ¼, 42 ¼, 46 ¼)(50 ¼, 53 ¾, 57 ½, 61 ¾) in around the chest.


NEEDLES 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles with 80 cm (32 in) cable length, or size needed to obtain gauge; 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, double pointed needles, or preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round, or size needed to obtain gauge; 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needles with 80 cm (32 in) cable length, or size needed to obtain gauge; 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needles, double pointed needles, or preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round, or size needed to obtain gauge.


YARN 800 (845, 1000, 1110, 1210)(1320, 1410, 1510, 1620) m 870 (920, 1090, 1210, 1320)(1440, 1540, 1650, 1770) yds

Sample features Knit Picks Stroll Tonal, 75% Fine Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, colorway Thunderhead, 462 yds/100 g, shown in size S with 2.5 cm(1 in) of positive ease.


NOTIONS & TOOLS -blocking tools of your preference -scissors -stitch markers, one in contrast colour for BOR -tapestry needle -waste yarn or stitch holder


GAUGE 22 stitches x 32 rounds in 10x10 cm (4x4 in) in stockinette stitch after blocking using larger needles. 20 stitches in lace pattern (1 repeat) = 9.25cm (3 ⅝ in) using larger needles. It is recommended to check both stockinette and lace pattern gauges. Changes in gauge will affect your yardage requirements.
