Mazamorra Morada
$ 10.00
The Mazamorra Morada is the fifth shawl of the It’s all relative collection. Inspired by my Peruvian grandmother, an extraordinary woman who has practiced medicine for over 50 years and raised a family after becoming widowed too early. Mazamorra morada is a traditional peruvian dessert, made from purple corn, fruits and spices such as cinnamon and clove, and my earliest memories are of indulging in bowls of it at her house after sunday lunch.
The pattern calls for just one skein of fingering weight yarn and it is worked top down, with a combination of lace stitches.
The pattern’s instructions are written and charted for your convenience.
