The Lastarria Sweater is an interesting lace sweater pattern, worked in the round from bottom up. The classic round yoke shape with french sleeves gives it a very delicate look, making this a great versatile piece to any wardrobe.
 

Lastarria is a touristic neighbourhood in Santiago de Chile, well-known for its bohemian and cultural atmosphere. A small beautiful oasis with lots of restaurants, museums, parks and fashion stores in the middle of the chilean capital.

The pattern was designed and developed to be worn with 0 to 5 cm (0 to 2 in) of positive ease and fitted sleeves.

GAUGE
22 stitches x 32 rounds in 10 cm/4 in in stockinette stitch after blocking using larger needles.
20 stitches in lace pattern (1 repeat) = 9.25 cm/3 ⅝ in using larger needles.


It is recommended to check both stockinette and lace pattern gauges.

 

Changes in gauge will affect your yardage requirements.
